AURANGABAD MISSION GREEN MOBILITY
To encourage and promote the EV ecosystem in the city and the region, the Marathwada Auto Cluster, with the support of citizens of Aurangabad, has launched ‘Aurangabad Mission Green Mobility (EV),’ an initiative to reduce air pollution in the cities through Green (EV) mobility. Aurangabad, a leading industrial, manufacturing, and automobile hub of the State of Maharashtra, will help become an Electric driven Vehicle Hub due to this initiative.
As part of Aurangabad Mission Green Mobility initiative 1000 EV Two-Wheelers, 250 EV Four Wheelers, 50 EV Buses, and 500 EV Three wheelers are targeted to be brought in Aurangabad city and Marathwada region. Considering the required ecosystem to the new technologies, development with 20+ Charging station at public places with easy access is also planned. On Republic Day 26th January 2022, the mission is launched with the resolution to purchase 250 EV four wheelers in first phase. The process of purchasing these four wheelers is likely to be completed by March 2022.
Aurangabad has always demonstrated power of collective wisdom and responsible citizens of Aurangabad and Marathwada region wish to make their contribution towards clean and green mobility in the cities with citizen’s small steps towards making their city SMART. In the execution of this initiative there is a promise for low emission to give our next generations CLEAN W-A- S (Water-Air-Soil). One prominent way is to reduce pollution. Easy is to reduce through mobility, hence Mission Green Mobility.
Efforts are being made to reach out to various Electric Vehicle (EV) Manufactures to support this mission. The buyers of EV vehicles are likely to be benefitted by joining this mission in multiple ways -Tangible and Intangible in the form of

Test drive of 4 Wheeler EV vehicles will be made available at Marathwada Auto Cluster, Cream & Crunch, IMA hall, MIT College, MASSIA Office, Chikalthana, CMIA Office, Railway Station MIDC this week onwards.
