Half a day seminar was organized exclusively for aspiring Women Entrepreneurs and also for those who have already started their venture and want to scale up their business by going global. The CMIA’s Women Entrepreneur Innovation Facilitation Cell supported by GIZ intends to handhold women entrepreneurs in Aurangabad through required professional support and mentoring by team of experts and mentors.
Half a day seminar was attended by nearly 50+ women participants.
The Chief Guest, Ms Iris Becker, Founder of Let’s Bridge IT delivered an inspiring speech where she emphasized that starting on your own and making it big is not always going to be smooth ride. Entrepreneurship has its challenges and there would be a lot of highs and lows in the journey to success.
Ms. Natasha Zarine, Director, Eco Sattva, made a presentation on her journey as an Women Entrepreneur in the area of Solid Waste Management in Aurangabad.
Mr. Bhagwan Chandnani, Asst. General Manager SIDBI, enumerated the schemes available for encouraging women to start on their own. If women holds more than 51% stake in a venture, then there are very good schemes that would help her in financing her project provided she has a good CIBIL score.
Mr. Girdhar Sanganeria, President, CMIA, Mr Prasad Kokil, Director, MAGIC and past president CMIA, Ms. Rashmi Khurana, Anchor Mentor and Program Director (West), Mr Ashish Garde, Director MAGIC and past president CMIA and Mr. Tasvvar Ali, Cluster Manager, MSME Innovation Project, GIZ were also attended and interacted with Women Entrepreneurs.
