Government of Maharashtra in association with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is hosted a Mega Investment summit called as Invest in Maharashtra, Invest into Marathwada summit (IIM2 Summit) on 8th and 9th September 2017 at Aurangabad. This event is aimed at bringing all leading Investors from the region, Investors from across India and all global Investors, Senior Government officials for interactions on Investment environment and opportunities for further investment in Marathwada.
During the Invest in Maharashtra, under the MAGIC Start-up Excellence Session Solutions for the new age India the entries were invited in various areas by the Students to encourage them during IIM2 Summit. Identified the projects of Cotton picking Robot, Trade What You Read and Blumate were awarded first, second and third place respectively. Start-up ideas were called for from academics, students and entrepreneurs. The top three winners of this initiative were felicitated by CII, CMIA and Govt. of Maharashtra.
The Prize Winning Project of Cotton Picking Robot is developed to pluck the cotton from the cotton plants to save the human efforts and the labour cost of the farmers. The winning entries were shortlist based on the Viability of the projects on the various aspects like; Practical utility; Financial aspect, Technological aspects etc.
